Baguio Weekend

hehehe

I went up to Baguio last Saturday. Technically, it was Friday nearing midnight that we left -- my sister and I (I know, I know, I rant about her all the time but what the hell, she came up with the idea, and I only had to come up with the money for the food!) -- and we arrived in Baguio at around 5 AM. Way cold. But fun.

We did the usual tourist thing and went to Mine's View Park; there weren't that many people there that time in the morning so it was great. Then we went to PMA, visit the nephew. I don't know if it was a good thing or not, but a Vice Admiral was there with some ceremony or another, so we stayed for the whole parade thing at Boromeo.

Hmm... I was actually thinking about Countdown when I was up there hehehe Maybe I can get some more ideas so I can finally finish that darned thing!

We took the longest time there since dearest nephew couldn't entertain us until well after lunch.

Anyway, after that, we had to go the Pink Sister Convent. Cookies! Really delicious, by the way.

Then back to the Market to get some stuff, then early dinner over at Don Henrico's... which reminds me, she keeps saying that she treated me to Don Henrico's before when I was in college, and I can't bloody well remember it! Dang, and she said I had two whole platters of onion rings then.

So, our trip back was on the 1120 bus, and we stayed over 3 hours, I think, at the bus station. Which wasn't so bad, if it wasn't so darned cold!
