Long time no write... hi!

Hah!

So the last time I blogged was last year... hmm... was always planning on updating but got busy with work, also got lazy that even when I was online, I wouldn't visit my blog and update and it's only now that I got the urge to blog.

So, what have I been up to.

There is work. I an training people again though, so it's not that "boring" anymore. You have to admit, doing the same thing over and over again is a bore. Even when you like what you do, there comes a time when you want to find something exciting about what you're doing. Then again, I'm not one of those people who are working in the field that they want the most, e.g., Circ de Soleil performers anyone? You have to seriousle enjoy your job to do that every day, twice a day sometimes. Me, I can't wait to leave the office come shift end... not to mention that my OT this time around is TY ^__^

Hay...

So apparently, in our culture, it's the groom who pays for the wedding. The bride just shows up and says her vows.

I didn't know that. I always thought it was the bride's family who spent a lot of money for the wedding. I am apparently a foreigner in my own culture. The fact that I have three brothers who are married, you would think that I'd be aware of which side pays, right?

Wrong.

I just show up at the weddings and eat cake at the reception! Cake is always good, for any occasion.

Heck, when I die, I want cake to be served! If there'd be any mourners/visitors to my wake, but then again, cake pulls in a lot of people to an event! So, cake! Mocha cake, with real mocha icing, not the butter mocha icing, too... oily. Chocolate is always good. Angel food cake, so-so, but pound cake is yummy! With lemon icing!

I want food.

I am downloading.

See, I'm not a good casual conversationalist, you know, the kind that you have with someone in a car, for instance. I just sit there and if it's not impolite, I listen to my mp3 player. If it's just me and whoever is driving the car, they'd better come up with conversation most times coz I can't do that. I always feel awkward, especially when I don't really know whoever is driving, not to mention that we obviously have different interests and thus no common topics to talk about. I mean, even music! He has his own thing, I have my own.

Sleepy, downloading.

Gah...

It is so different when you share the same accomodations with a vampire. I can feel the difference, in that I'm always drained of energy. I need to recharge. I need to get away.

Hey, anybody know of any available accomodations in Ortigas?
